Argentine photographer, video and installation artist Graciela Sacco presents a new series of works that investigate the reflection of light on different structures and surfaces. Both intimate and social enviroments are fundamental to the creation of these works: fleeting photographics marks are captured in the materialization of the shadows that appropiate and occupy the spaces. Sacco's work uses different photosensitives processes, allowing her to materialize concepts in unique way that places her at the forefront of contemporary art. She was invited for the Atlantic center for the Arts as a Master Artists-in-Residence program in September of 2005, Florida. U.S.A .She was invited to do a residence in Delfina Studio, London ,during the summer of 2002 and in La Cite des Arts, Paris during the winter of 2003. Sacco has represented Argentina at severals biennales including Shanghai (2004), Venice (2001), Havana (2000/97), Mercosur (1997) and Sao Pablo (1996). Sacco's work has been exhibited at the New World Museum in Houston (2004) and Art Basel Miami (2004).
