Founded in 1995 by Dominique Haim Chanin, Dominique Chanin & Co. organizes exhibitions, offers consulting services for private collectors with a particular emphasis on public art and outdoor sculpture, and proposes events and editorial content on the connection between art and nature.

Since the death of her father, Paul Haim, in 2006, Dominique Haim Chanin carries on his artistic and human vision and oversees La Petite Escalère, a private sculpture garden located in the South West of France that has become a space of creativity, research and the exchange of ideas centered around art, nature and landscape.

Since 2012, the association of Friends of La Petite Escalère has pursued a three-part mission: to promote cultural and artistic education for its target audience—primary, secondary and higher education students along with vulnerable audiences; to support contemporary artistic creation through residencies, guest artists, readings, and dialogues; and to preserve and promote the natural and cultural patrimony of the garden.
